Aneta Rusek, MD, FACP

Dr. Aneta Tarasiuk-Rusek earned her medical degree from Poznań University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, Poland and completed an internal medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Rusek completed an Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She has professional experience as both an internal medicine and infectious diseases physician.

She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

She specializes in the following:

• Consultative infectious diseases medicine

• Management of chronic infections such as HIV, Hep B or Hep C

• Post-exposure and pre-exposure prophylaxis

• Management of immunocompromising conditions such as transplant

• Management of antimicrobial resistance

• Adult travel medicine

Dr. Rusek is available by referral only, except for patients seeking treatment for HIV, Hep B or Hep C.
